The last week n a bit has been an emotional roller coaster. There were times were I thought there was a little bit of hope he would survive and recover, but as the days went by we realized that he wouldn't. The family had come to accept the fact that he was very ill and that his days were numbered. I just want to thank God that my husband and I made it on time to spend the last couple of days of his life right by his side, along with the entire family. I will never forget the experience, you accepted me with open arms when we first met in 2009, and I will always remember our last conversation ;) Thank you for being an exemplary example of what it means to be a GREAT husband, dad, and grandfather. I know you will be watching over us.
Amongst so much pain and sorrow, we were united as ONE, a family that supports one another. Out of tragedy, beauty and peace can flourish. Families come together to reminisce about the past. Forever wrapped in your love.
