Concentrate the mind on the present moment.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

The quote by Buddha happens to be one of my favorites! It is simple, honest and beautiful, and that's why it is a part of my philosophy. Although people believe that concentrating the mind on the present moment is meant to be easy, it is not. The word concentrate means to focus and the action of concentration takes practice. The more you concentrate, the easier it becomes. After time, concentrating your mind on the present moment will become habitual as part of your unconscious. 

Enjoy today, it is the best present!

    The Buddha also said, "We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think." So never doubt yourself, find a way to love yourself, and you will not be burdened. Even for those who are not Buddhist, there is so much truth in these words.
