El Templo de San Agustin, is where my husband and I had our religious ceremony on November eleventh, two thousand and eleven. It is located in "La Plaza de Libertad" in the heart of historic downtown Guadalajara, Mexico.
Initially, this was not the our first choice. The same day we were hunting for an hacienda for our reception, we had checked out a temple in the same municipality, and loved it. Unfortunately, or fortunately, another couple beat us! Hahaha. So here I was six months before our wedding, in Vancouver, researching temples in Guadalajara. We believe that "everything happens for a reason" and knew things would work out for the best! And that's just what happened!
So thankfully, after several (about 15) failed attempts at finding an available church, I found San Agustin! It was available for our date and time! *phew* I had a good friend of ours check out San Agustin, to make sure it was what I had read, and seen in pictures, and it was! YAY!
